Caitlin Clarke

Caitlin Clarke, Director of Policy and External Affairs at BTG Pactual's Timberland Investment Group, leads TIG’s work on policy initiatives focused on the role of responsible forestry in delivering positive outcomes for people and nature. She is responsible for leading the firm’s participation in external standard-setting processes and advising on strategies related to environmental policy and performance. Caitlin was previously a senior fellow at The Nature Conservancy, responsible for development and delivery of nature-based solutions strategies. Prior to TNC, she led Western Hemisphere operations for Singapore-based consulting, auditing, and technology firm Double Helix Tracking Technologies. In that role and prior to it at the World Resources Institute, she developed technology and strategy in public-private partnerships to address illegal logging and associated trade. She serves as a technical expert on working groups and advisory committees related to land use, carbon accounting, forest management, forest certification, and biodiversity management.
